If you want to quit smoking, Halton has the resources that can help. Our Stop Smoking Clinic also offers personalized support from a health care professional to help you develop a plan to quit.

Where to Get Food in Halton

The 2013 edition of Halton Region’s Where to Get Food in Halton is now available. Distributed to libraries and community agencies throughout Halton Region, this valuable resource contains a comprehensive listing of food-related support programs and services offered in Halton.wheretogetfoodcover

At Halton Region we work hard every day to encourage residents to make healthy choices in their lives. Healthy eating and having access to a variety of nutritious foods are two critical components of a healthy lifestyle and the prevention of obesity and chronic diseases like diabetes.

The Region has worked with numerous community organizations and partners to create Where to Get Food in Halton. The resource will assist residents to find food-related supports in the community, including farmers’ markets, food box programs, and community kitchens.
